Join major talents in composing for film and television as they talk about their work with host Tommy Pearson.

Michael Giacchino is an Oscar, Golden Globe, BAFTA and Emmy-winning composer whose celebrated scores can be found across film, television and games. His scores for Pixar’s The Incredibles and Up as well as Star Trek and Mission Impossible III, have seen him collaborate with some of the biggest filmmakers in the American industry.

In television, he began his long-standing partnership with director JJ Abrams, scoring the fan favourite Alias before working on the ground-breaking series, Lost, for which he won an Emmy.
His game scores include entries in several major game series from Steven Spielberg’s Medal of Honor to the BAFTA-winning Call of Duty.Michael’s upcoming projects include the Wachowski’s Jupiter Ascending, Matt Reeves’Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland.

Host Tommy Pearson is a broadcaster, producer and musician. Having worked with BBC radio and TV for 15 years, Tommy now runs Red Ted Productions, which makes films/promos for major arts organisations and works regularly with the biggest names in film music producing live orchestral concerts.
