Borough Beats

This event will showcase the musical talents of over 300 young musicians from schools across Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Barking & Dagenham coming together in celebration of partnership and transition through urban sounds, percussion and world music.

Performances will feature genre specific items including Dhol, African drums, orchestral percussion, Taiko drumming, samba, steel pan and body percussion as well as dance. The evening will culminate in a massed performance by all musicians and ensembles in a magnificent finale
