The 2014 London African Music Festival will again run for 10 days, take place in 16 venues across and more than 100 among the best African Artists and Musicians around.

This year's festival features the likes of Bombino (Niger) with the support of Jally Kebba Susso (Gambia) at the Union Chapel, Alim Kamara (Sierra Leone) at The Green Note, SEKOUBA BAMBINO (Guinea) at Islington Assembly Hall, KANDA BONGO MAN (Congo) at The Forge, vocalist GHALIA BENALI(Tunisia), RISE KAGONA of Bhundu Boys fame (Malawi), KING AYISOBA (Ghana), COCO MBASSI (Cameroon), SAMY BISHAI (Egypt), MAMANI KEITA (Mali). Making their London debut are Malian singer MAMANI KEITA (Mali) and Swedish/Senegalese couple SOUSOU and MAHER CISSOKO, LORRAINE LIONHEART (Botswana), SONA JOBARTEH (Gambia) at The Canada Water Culture Space, CASBAH BLUES (Algeria), SIMO LAGNAWI (Morocco), United Vibrations and COS OV MONI 2 Official UK Premiere live performance by Wanlov + M3nsa (Ghana) at Hackney Attic, KOKO KANYINDA AND THE CONGO ALLSTARS (Congo) at The Flyover Portobello, YOMI BASHIRU AND NAIJA GROOVES (Nigeria), AUBREI WOKI AND THE KALAHARI (Botswana) At Charlton House, GHALIA BENALI (Tunisia) and YAZ FENTAZI TRIO (Algeria) at The Tabernacle, KYAZI BLUES (Tanzania) and MUDIBU (Burundi) DJ AFRICATHY at Upstairs at The Ritzy, Joyce Moholoage and Safricanto (South Africa), Appelles Ogaga (Kenya), Ben Audu (Nigeria)

DJ VOODOO FUNK (aka DJ Frank Gossner) presents his treasure of vinyl records he collected on his travel through Africa.

Two mainstay of British-African music guitarist ABDUL TEE-JAY (Sierra Leone) and British-Nigerian pianist/vocalist JUWON OGUNGBE(UK/Nigeria) play solo in the afternoon at the Green Note Club.

The British-Ghanaian funk band YAABA FUNK at RichMix, Native Sun(UK/Mozambique) at Passing Clouds, DebraDebs(UK/Cameroon) at Cargo, and the Nigerian Afrobeat band THE RHYTHMS are those who know know how to put the funk in the grooves adding to the ten days of wonderful music.
