Comic Strip Club

Who said comics were just for kids? Comic Strip Club is a drink and draw session with a twist. Pop over for a graphic, novel experience!

Whether you're a dedicated comic fanatic or just like the idea of having a scribble with your pint, we'd love to have you along.

We always begin the evening with a group warm-up exercise, (to get the ink and the booze flowing) and get us in the right 'frame' of mind to start stripping (Comic stripping that is! Get your mind out of the gutter space). It's also a great mingling time and eases us into the night of bad puns, strange drawings and comical moments.

Each month we choose a different focus so no two Comic Strip Clubs are ever the same. Previously we have looked at The Golden age of Superhero Comics, Pencilling and inking, Will Eisner, Drawing Styles.....the list goes on!

We finish the night with a comic jam! Everyone draws one panel on the wall to make a group comic! It's collaborative, its hilarious, its rude and they rarely make any sense!

All materials are provided for free (except your drinks)
No expert drawing skills required! ( a stick man is a beautiful thing)
No knowledge, No Worries, its all about FUN!!
