The Marriage of Figaro
Olivier Award winning OperaUpClose follow their successful La Boheme and La Traviata with Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro. With great tunes, laugh-out-loud comedy and powerful insights into what it is to be human, it's little wonder that The Marriage of Figaro is one of the world’s best-loved operas.
Directed by Sarah Tipple, this inventive production is presented in a new English version by OperaUpClose Artistic Director, Robin Norton-Hale (La Boheme & La Traviata).
The Marriage of Figaro will be performed by seven singers, accompanied by viola, clarinet and piano. The music will be led by Musical Director and Orchestrator Alex Beetschen, who will also make a brief vocal appearance as the Judge, Don Curzio.
