This month they've got Balkan meets Latin from the Nomadic party starters led by Alejandro Toledo, Full Attack Band. Plus Latin fire and Congolese soul from Juanita Euka and fresh London Afrobeat from the female led Kokoroko. With DJ Spiritual South joining the dots between the tropical sounds and global bass 'til the very end

Rapid Rhythms from the Nomadic International Party Starters

Ph.D saxophonist Alejandro Toledo (Argentina) and his group of international musicians have set a trademark for their impeccably-executed and full-throttle performances which have invited comparisons to bands such as Gogol Bordello, Mano Negra (Manu Chao), Bomba Estereo, Balkan Beat Box, and Fanfare Ciocarlia.

Formerly known as Alejandro Toledo and the Magic Tombolinos, this band of travelling exiles came together in the UK to invent their own form of ultimate Balkan-glam meets Latin Hip-Hop, Urban, and 21st Century music influences. The band has woven together a sound that is energetic and exuberant, infused with a wealth of musical traditions.

Expect heavy bass and rapid rhythms, topped with high energy Saxophone, and lyrics from the mighty Fedzilla.

A Congolese/Argentinean singer based in London. Juanita is a serial collaborator, working artists and musicians in London and the rest of the UK, including the hot Cuban Urban-Funk band WARA, and Outerplanetary, Afro-Latin, Hip Hop, Punks, Animanz.
