Regent Street Summer Streets

This July, Regent Street will be celebrating the arrival of the sunshine with the return of its annual, and much anticipated, Summer Streets events. Taking place every Sunday from 10th– 24th July, the series will see Regent Street becoming traffic free in a bid to encourage Londoners and visitors alike to relax, unwind and enjoy the fantastic range of exhibitions, games, talks, pop-ups and shows on offer throughout the street.

Each Sunday will explore one of three themes: Health and Leisure, Garden Party and Fashion, with the huge range of activity on offer ensuring that there truly will be something for everyone on Regent Street this summer.


Sunday 10th July: Health & Lifestyle

Beginning with the sound of the starting gun for the British 10k London Run, Sunday 10th July will see an army of health and wellbeing experts descent on Regent Street for a day of fun, fitness and leisure. An estimated 14,000 runners will begin their 10k race on Regent Street, travelling down towards Piccadilly, before clearing the street by 11.30am in time for the rest of the festivities to begin. An inflatable hockey pitch manned by the England Hockey team will allow local clubs to play, while Northface fitness instructors will run Bootcamps throughout the day. Fitbit will be operating a pop-up zone featuring an inflatable ball pit, a Batak reaction game and spinning bikes.


Sunday 17th July: Garden Party

This is the day for really relaxing on Regent Street, as retailers and restaurants come together to host the ultimate urban Garden Party. Three separate entertainment zones will fill the street with typically British music for guests to enjoy at their leisure, while they wander and take in all of the food, drink and fantastic shopping that Regent Street has to offer. As the sun goes down, Late Night London will be popping up, with an on-stage

DJ keeping people dancing throughout the evening.


Sunday 24th July: Fashion with Magnum

For the final Summer Streets Sunday of 2016, Regent Street has partnered with Magnum ice cream, the brand synonymous with pleasure, to create the ultimate outdoor fashion moment. Inspired by the launch of the Magnum Double range, people will be called upon to unleash their wild side and say ‘yes’ to an extra dose of indulgence.

During the afternoon, Magnum will host a fashion show featuring the finest designs from Regent Street’s many retailers, after which Magnum will dare consumers to be bold and take a stroll down the People’s Catwalk, with every moment captured on the big screen.

There will also be a live DJ playing throughout the day, as well as dance workshops for the public inside a Big Dance Double Decker bus, featuring dance and fashion from across the decades.
