Christmas In Leicester Square

Christmas in Leicester Square is a new festival for 2016, which will transform the centre of bustling London into a wonderland including traditional Christmas markets with hand-crafted goods and delicious food and drinks, a Santa's Grotto where children will be able to meet the man himself, plus the return of Olivier Award-winning theatrical smash-hit sensation, La Soirée, for an 8 week run in this fantastic new location!


Christmas Markets

Take a stroll through our traditional Christmas market, where you’ll be able to sample the finest in seasonal treats and surprises, hand picked for their unique charm.

Warm yourself with a glass of mulled wine or a delicious hot snack from one of the many food concessions, then feast your eyes on bespoke good, specially selected from a wide range of stalls, housed in authentic Bavarian-style wooden huts. From confectionary to imported savoury treats, traditional children’s wooden hand-crafted toys, festive ornaments, charming accessories and more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the Christmas Market.


LA SOIRÉE

LA SOIRÉE is a theatrical phenomenon that’s won devotees around the world. Now you can discover the decadent and downright dangerous show that Entertainment Weekly calls “a mesmerizing hybrid of sideshow, vaudeville & burlesque” and Flavorpill says is, “definitely not for kids but oh so much fun for adults.” Come one, come all and come often to the delicious, deviant and delirious LA SOIRÉE.


Santa's Grotto

Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without a visit to Santa... A chance for children to meet the man in red in person, and tell him their dearest wish. Come and hear a festive fairytale, sit on Father Christmas's knee, meet his helpers, and receive a gift. After a good break this year, a refreshed Santa is back to welcome you to his grotto. With a bespoke Christmas Story for this "audience with"-style Grotto, each child will also have the opportunity to meet the man himself and receive a small gift.


Westminster's Winter Windows
Come and see Westminster's Winter Windows! Designed by pupils from schools throughout Westminster, the windows form a magical pathway across the North side of Leicester Square. Each window is designed by a budding young artist from a local school.
