Late Night Jazz – Snowpoet

Snowpoet are one of the most innovative and creative new bands in the UK today. Fusing together the writing duo of Jazz FM Vocalist of the Year 2016 Lauren Kinsella and composer / multi-instrumentalist Chris Hyson, Snowpoet bring song writing to a new setting.

The group also features Josh Arcoleo on tenor saxophone, Matthew Robinson on piano, Nick Costley-White on guitar and Dave Hamblett on drums. Inspired in equal parts by artists such as Bjork, Joni Mitchell, Tom Waits and Ólöf Arnalds, their music combines jazz, modern folk and ambient soundscapes with original and inventive songwriting at its core.

Expect to hear music from their forthcoming album, which will be released in February 2018 on Edition Records.
