Footnotes is a solo dance theatre performance. The show fluctuates in form throughout. It begins as a lecture whose topic, subject and purpose are almost completely obscured by jargon and pseudo-intellectual nonsense. The footnotes attached to several words in the lecture begin as semi useful if somewhat unnecessary asides and extra info but quickly devolve into more expressive outbursts, actions, impulses, dances and overshares. This starts to develop a split in the man delivering the lecture as he veers from formality to informality and is interrupted constantly by his own thoughts and desires.
