Handel's Messiah

The annual performance of Handel’s sacred oratorio Messiah returns to the Hall as part of our 2020 Christmas season.

Having featured on our programme since 1871 and been performed in full 524 times on our stage (as of December 2019), Handel’s Messiah is a true Royal Albert Hall tradition.

This year, the concert features the sublime voices of the Philharmonia Chorus, accompanied by majestic sounds of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, combined with special guest vocalists Francesca Chiejina, Katie Bray, Trystan Llŷr Griffiths and Dingle Yandell.

Join us as the splendour of this beloved masterpiece fills our auditorium once more.
