Vivaldi is the headliner, but expect discoveries too, when Adrian Chandler and La Serenissima explore the musical byways of baroque Venice.

Imagine a city of shadows and reflections, of glittering splendour and dazzling display. Vivaldi’s concertos are the sound of Venice, and no-one plays them with more flair than violinist Adrian Chandler and the superb period-instrument players of La Serenissima, the team that (in the words of Classic FM) “put the rock into baroque”. But they know that there’s more to Venice than just Vivaldi, and today they share their latest rediscovery: the flamboyant, gloriously colourful music of his fellow-violinist Giuseppe Brescianello. Hold tight – it gets exciting.
