This Friday Lunchtime Concert is programmed in partnership with City Music Foundation and includes their exceptional young artists.
Reylon 揚特 (he/she/they) is a genre-fluid yangqin player and 2020 City Music Foundation Artist who matches virtuosity with versatility. On 11th February, they will bring to St Martin’s a rare programme of traditional, contemporary and original Chinese music that showcases the richness of their instrument. The yangqin, or Chinese hammered dulcimer, is a percussive string instrument with an iridescent sustain that descends from the santur lineage.
