Oh, Poo!

Help the Charles Dickens Museum to cause a stink this summer by bringing your family along to one of our ‘Oh, Poo!’ workshops on 3rd or 24th August.

Begin your visit by digging through some Victorian 'poos', exploring the Victorian diet and learning about how the rich and the poor ate different foods. Who knows what nasty truths you might unearth about the vile Victorians?

Once you've pondered your 'poo', you can explore the London home of the famous Charles Dickens, following our Toilet Trail to uncover the delightfully dreadful facts about how the Victorians kept clean and went to the loo!

This wonderfully weird family day is brilliant fun, and a great way to inspire your kids. Follow our toilet trail, dress up as a Victorian servant and play our family parlour games. Don't forget to keep your eye our for our resident hedgehog, Billy Spikes!
