SEPTEMBER 2022 – Calling all fashionistas! Leading cocktail brand De Kuyper Royal Distillers are inviting you to celebrate London Fashion Week at Peckham’s iconic Bussey Building Rooftop Bar, from Friday 9th-Sunday 11th September.

Proud Summer sponsors of Peckham’s Bussey Building Rooftop Bar & Film Club, De Kuyper have been serving their delicious cocktails throughout the season at this stunning sky-high, open air movie theatre.

For one weekend only, attention turns to fashion fun, where you can thrift, swap, and shop till you drop in front of a fashion themed movie night for the screening of The Devil Wears Prada (9th September) or Breakfast at Tiffany’s (11th). And no fashion themed movie night would be complete without a complimentary De Kuyper Cosmopolitan - Carrie Bradshaw’s fave cocktail no less!

Don’t Shop, Swap – Friday 9th September: 11:00 to 16:00/ 12:00 to 17:00
Don’t Shop, Swap kicks off a weekend of fashion with a sustainable pop-up shop. Bring up to five items of clothing and swap them for new-to-you pieces! The perfect guilt-free opportunity to spruce up your wardrobe as we head into a new season as your pre-loved items make their way happily to a new home.

Loanhood Pop Up – Sunday 11th September
At the Loanhood experience, fashion afficionados will be able to try-on beautiful clothes inspired by the classic film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, with a free photography workshop for the ultimate glamour experience. Tickets are free of charge.
De Kuyper Brand Manager, Karen Daly, comments, “Cocktails and clothing go hand in hand in my opinion, and this Fashion Week weekend is the ultimate culmination of a fantastic summer as official sponsors of the iconic Bussey Building Rooftop Bar and Cinema Club.

Attendees of the events can also share their photos on the night for the chance to win a dinner for 4 people at front row favourite, Sketch. Runners up will receive a delicious De Kuyper cocktail kit to make their favourite cocktails at home.

Film screenings start at 8pm and guests must be aged 18+.

BUSSEY BUILDING, PECKHAM RYE
The Bussey Building is a Victorian reinforced concrete industrial structure, brick-clad with most of its decorative features on the side facing the railway tracks. It originally acted as advertising for Bussey and Co, the well-known sporting goods manufacturers. George Bussey was an eminent Victorian industrialist and entrepreneur. The factory made cricket bats from its own willow farm in Suffolk. There are magnificent views of central London from the three roofs. The factory was, when it was built, one of Peckham’s tallest buildings.
