MCC and Middlesex County Cricket Club are delighted to announce that the most eagerly awaited day of the cricketing social calendar is back by popular demand. Ladies Day at Lord’s, now in its fifth year, brings together all the excitement of First-Class domestic cricket with the essential elements of any popular socialites calendar event, all taking place on the Jubilee bank holiday, Tuesday 5th June 2012, in the beautiful surroundings of Lord’s, the Home of Cricket.

There’s no better place to watch First-Class cricket than Lord’s Cricket Ground, and ladies can do so for free, as MCCC are offering free admission to all ladies on the day, allowing you to enjoy all of the action, as Middlesex take on Somerset in Division One of the LV= County Championship.

Ladies in attendance who are dressed in their finest summer attire, and their accompanying gentlemen dressed in jackets and ties, are invited to join the Middlesex Committee and staff for a free champagne reception in the beautiful Harris Gardens from midday, where you can relax and mingle, enjoy a complementary glass of bubbly, and soak up the history and atmosphere of Lord’s. For those who’ve spent the morning building up a hearty appetite, there’s the ever popular sumptuous summer picnic menu in the Harris Gardens served up by the MCC’s catering team.

You can also indulge in our special BBQ menu accompanied by a glass of Pimm’s in the Lord’s Tavern on any day of the Jubilee long weekend. With Marston’s providing the Queen’s Jubilee Ale, traditional High Tea being served on Tuesday only and favourites such as the weekly Quiz Night (with a Royal twist), Lord’s Tavern is the only place to be to celebrate the Jubilee with friends and family.
