Royal Caribbean International's DreamWorks Experience at Shrek The Musical

Family cruise line, Royal Caribbean International, has teamed up with Shrek The Musical in London’s West End to offer theatre-going families a little extra this half term.

Anyone heading to the Theatre Royal Drury Lane to enjoy the escapades of Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey this half term (27 Oct – 3 Nov) will get a taste of the DreamWorks Experience that is on offer onboard Royal Caribbean International ships. Audience members can enjoy having their photo taken with the characters in various photobooth, options which can be directly uploaded to Facebook to show off your new friends. Plus, everyone that takes part and has their snap taken with the lovable ogre has the chance to win a cruise.

The award-winning Shrek The Musical is based on the original DreamWorks Animation film and stars Dean Chisnall as Shrek, Richard Blackwood as Donkey, Neil McDermott as Lord Farquaad and Carley Stenson as Princess Fiona. Shrek The Musical has staged over 500 performances and sold almost a million tickets since it opened in London in 2011.

The DreamWorks Experience available onboard select Royal Caribbean International ships includes the chance to holiday with Shrek, Princess Fiona and Puss In Boots of ‘Shrek’ as well as fellow DreamWorks favourites such as; Alex, Gloria, Mort and the famous Penguins of Madagascar, Po of ‘Kung Fu Panda’; and Hiccup of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’. Guests onboard can enjoy a special production in the onboard AquaTheater of Let You Entertain Me, an ice skating show of How to Train Your Dragon, a DreamWorks Animation parade down the Royal Promenade, interactive Character Breakfasts in the main dining room and various other shows and activities as well as plenty of photo opportunities.
