Stamford Bridge - Chelsea FC

Stamford Bridge is situated on the Fulham Road in South-west London and has been home to Chelsea Football Club since its formation in 1905. It is easily accessed via Fulham Broadway District Line underground station.

There has clearly been much expansion and development of the original stadium, such that the Stamford Bridge of today boasts a capacity over 40,000, two hotels and five restaurants! The retail complex also consists of more than 20,000 square meters of shopping. Also built in conjunction with the Science Museum is Chelsea World of Sport- where visitors are given the opportunity to participate in a variety of interactive sports tests and exhibits.

Though always a fine football club, with their fair share of trophies and titles- Stamford Bridge has become a hive of excitement ever since multi-billionaire Roman Abramovich bought the club. The resulting influx of money allowed it to win many of the world's most gifted footballers, and so recent years have brought much trophy and commercial success.
