There is a £10 minimum card spend and when I asked about this when I first started going to Bloomsbury Cleaners, it was waived. Since then, I usually go there weekly, spending £7-9, rarely £10. Over many months, I am usually served by the same person and this issue has never been raised since. Last week I was reminded about the £10 minimum spend by a different member of staff. She was argumentative, appeared to try and appeared to try and shift 'blame' to her colleague. I appreciate how difficult things are for small businesses, and I don't mind playing by the rules. What I do mind is being picked apart by a member of staff with a smug smile and patronising attitude. I have moved my custom elsewhere.

I put bedlinen in for laundering. My first thought was "ouch, expensive". 17 quid for double bedlinen and two towels but I needed it done.
It wasn't ready at the specified collection time (48 hours after drop off, so not a "rush job") and the idiot who ironed my duvet cover has ruined all of the plastic poppers so the duvet falls out as you sleep.
The store manager is uninterested and says they don't take reposonsibility for closing devices. I am furious that my (expensive) duvet cover has been ruined by thoughtless in attention to detail.
I will not be utilizing their services

The very friendly man at the counter warned me that it was unlikely they could get the wine stains out of my white jacket. He also called his boss to ask for them to get it done early the next day, as I had to catch a plane. Nevertheless they did a pretty good job considering, dry cleaning it more than once to try -- extra effort.
It was ten pounds, but he also laundered a hat of mine for free.
No complaints, would go again.

Took curtains in for dry-cleaning. The rather rude man behind the counter quoted an incredibly high price. When I expressed surprise, he said any other place would charge more. So I went to a place in Islington which charged me half! Very dodgy place - avoid!

gave a large coat for dry cleaning and a burger king stain seemed to still be there after the coat was "cleaned" which made me suspicious about the quality of the dry cleaning...plus was told i could pick up my clothes up until 6.30pm one night but they had already shut by 6.07pm. not a very reliable service :(
