All In London Review
Sweeping views of London and a shock-red Negroni in hand - what could be better?
Perched at the top of a multi-storey car park in Peckham, Frank’s Café and Campari bar has been in existence for a number of years now. Running for a limited time period from 30th June, it’s best to make the most of it while you can. Access is available by climbing the stairs or ascending the ramps in what remains a working car park. Towards the upper levels artist’s work is exhibited. This is thanks to Bold Tendencies, the collective at the bottom of Frank’s.
When placed on the top deck of a car park, the wooden structure that is Frank’s Cafe appears to be quite small. But, the red tarp offers enough protection from the elements and when the weather is fine you’ll want to be exploring the rooftop for the views that stretch out across London. Naturally, at Frank’s you have to be sipping Campari. Take it straight up on the rocks or plump for the classic Negroni cocktail for something a little sweeter. Beer, wine and alternative spirits are also available along with an adventurous menu of light bites.
The majority of London’s bars exist north of the Thames but as we all know, quality trumps quantity. Frank’s Café and Campari Bar is a highlight of Peckham’s growing prosperity and a destination worth travelling to for the views alone.
