We found this restaurant by accident and were very pleased we did.
The food was lovely. We had the Carpaccio, Antipasto Rustico, Penne al salmone, Ravioloni alto gensano and coffees. The Penne al salmone was excellent (worth 7 stars on its own)
Lovelly atmosphere, great price and good wine
I would definately recommend it

It was most disappointing Italian food I’ve ever had in past few years and food served were nothing like they said on the menu.
I had "Carpaccio di Manzo" as a starter, which said on menu “Thinly sliced fillet of beef on a bed of rocket topped with Parmesan shavings”. What arrived was, 5 tasteless thin slices of beef on top of a handful of rocket leaves mixed with other greens with 2 small slices of parmesan cheese on top and a lemon wedge on the side. It was not even marinaded in olive oil, and it didn’t come until we requested it.
As a main, I ordered "Tagliolini al nero di seppia con gamberoni, polpetti, moscardini & seppioline", which said on menu “Home made tagliolini pasta (blackened with squid ink) Baby octopus , cuttlefish, calamari and cherry tomato sauce”. The homemade pasta was over cocked and texture was totally ruined. They didn’t use any real squid ink for the sauce and there were no baby octopus, cuttlefish, calamari as it said on the menu and they were replaced with prawns and mussels without any explanation.
Waiters/waitresses seemed not to be well trained, giving impression that they didn’t know much about Italian food and how to serve customers, although they were friendly.
Over all, I really doubt their chef has been properly trained, or has had proper Italian meal before as I could not feel any Italian sprit from their food and atmosphere of the restaurant.
Never go there again!
