Read the Time out write up before I went so I was expecting this place to be ok if not good
Place looked interesting when we arrived . Small cosy rooms that had real character .
Staff
Initially attentive but were too busy checking out the delivery of food on another table to hear my order which I repeated four times.
Food
Spare ribs - sounds simple to get right. Inedible , dry hard and no meat. Its not hard to cook spare ribs . My local chines fish and chip shop does a better job and a lot cheaper
Rather than go on about how bad the food was I would just advise you not to go
China town has loads of places to choose from so try somewhere else !
The interior has been faulously done to create the impression that you're sitting amongst the hustle and bustle of a Chinese street being served with dishes from a fabulous, but very reasonable regional Chinese menu (with some dishes available for under £3!). The style is on the verge of Chinese tapas with many smaller dishes of dumplings, stews and noodles available.
