A large, leafy and ethinically diverse borough stretching from Chiswick in the east to Heathrow Airport in the west. Heathrow is arguably a mixed blessing to the borough; it acts as one of the areas biggest employers and provides brilliant transport links, but sadly also provides levels of sound pollution well-beyond any normal person's tolerance level! Hounslow is lucky to have 5 beautiful stately homes within its boundaries each worthy of a visit.
"Hounslow is one of the larger outer London boroughs and lies to the west of the capital. The borough has a growing migrant community (it has one of the largest Indian communities in the country) with over forty per cent of the population having an ethnic minority background. local areas and communities in Hounslow are different in character. The level of overall deprivation is average. As with so many of London's boroughs, Hounslow is an area of contrasts from the relative disadvantage of parts such as Feltham, to those parts with significant wealth in the east of the borough, such as in Chiswick.
